Our little peacock

When Laina was a few months old, she was drawn to a certain book that had a colorful peacock in it. She studied this little thing endlessly. So when we ran across a peacock costume online, we just couldn’t pass it up. She was able to wear the costume several times, and I swear I found it to be more hilarious each time. We went to a Halloween party hosted by the mom’s group in our neighborhood, and it was so much fun to see all of the little ones dressed up. It was especially funny to watch Laina and her pals stare at each other in these costumes and wonder what was going on!! There was a lot of tugging on bunny ears and monkey tails going on. Too cute. We also went to a couple other Halloween gatherings, and Laina really took a liking to playing the part. Here are a few pictures of our little peacock.
