I love cupcakes. Really, I do. As in I could eat a whole batch of them by myself in a couple days. In fact, Sam has witnessed me do just that. Sad, I know. There’s just something about having a personal little cake all to myself that nobody else can mess with. I get to choose which one I want, and savor each scrumptious bite. AND, most importantly, I feel justified in eating more than one in a sitting because they are quite small. At least I think so.
I had heard about Georgetown Cupcake from several friends, so the three of us spent the morning in Georgetown just hanging out. Laina enjoyed walking by the water, running around in a maze, and playing with her new friend, Lucy. She and Lucy met at the maze, and became fast friends. They watched the boats, chased each other, and even held hands after a short while. So cute.
When the clock struck 11, we headed to the long awaited destination to get our cupcakes (only half a dozen, mind you;) They were delish. in fact, we got there before 11 and they had already opened and had several customers. Apparently I’m not the only one with a love for cupcakes!
