for Grammy, that is. We got to spend much more time with Grammy this summer, and Laina was in heaven. On our last day with Grammy, we tried to make it extra special. We spent the morning in Shirlington playing with the fountains, reading at the library and listening to a musician, “Groovy Nate.” He turned out not to be so groovy for toddlers (maybe teenagers!), so we headed over to Busboys and Poets for lunch. After naptime, we spent the afternoon at the pool. Such a fun day together. Laina has asked, “Where Grammy go?” a few times since school has started…but something tells me we will still be able to see Grammy occasionally ;).
