This morning, I was attempting to get Laina ready to head to Hooray for Books in Old Town for the weekly story time. There are some days Laina definitely tends to stall more than others…and this morning was one of them. I’m not sure if she just had other plans for this morning (since she continuously talked about having her friends over), or if she was just playing games with me. I managed to get her pants on before she bolted over to her table and chairs proudly shouting ” I’m naked, I’m naked!!” As I was trying to negotiate with her to come back over so we could put the rest of her clothes on, she looked at me with a big grin and said “I’m just gonna hang out….I’m too tired.” Are you for real? Aren’t you two years old Laina Abigail?
It was just one of those cute/funny moments and I couldn’t hold back the laughter.
