Santa dropped by the community center in our neighborhood a couple weekends ago, so we of course had to go say hi! This time, Laina talked to Santa, shook his hand, and touched him on his knee…but still did not want to sit on his lap. I guess it doesn’t help when she sees a lot of kids kicking and screaming as parents carry them over to his lap. I suppose I wouldn’t want to sit on his lap either. Overall, I think she is more excited about than scared of Santa, but she definitely has some guidelines about what she is comfortable with :).
