We took Laina back to Natural History Museum a few weeks ago, and I have to jot this story down. After examining all of the dinosaurs and mammals, we headed over to the small theater to watch a short video on evolution. In the middle of all of the seating, there is a statue of a gorilla that many of the kids took a liking to. Laina decided she wanted to sit right next to him during the movie so they could get to know one another. After a few minutes, she hopped down and was examining him, too.
Her statement went kind of like this: “There’s his mouth…and nose…and ears..and hands. And look, he has nipples and a magina too.”
Oh, the things we say during childhood :).
