One of the weekend rituals the three of us started when Laina was a baby was to walk down to Shirlington so Laina could take in all of the neighborhood sights, and so that Sam and I could treat ourselves to sushi and smoothies. Now that Laina is old enough and willing to try most things, she is now developing an appreciation for our little ritual. Considering she ate 4 pieces of sushi, we think she likes it!
