although i haven’t been able to blog as much as i’d like to, that certainly doesn’t mean that there aren’t so many memorable things that occur on any given day. just last week, elijah was trying to climb the stairs and laina walked towwards him and he said “na-na.” laina was SO excited and said “Mommy, he said my name! He said Laina!” or that all of a sudden, laina is able to take on some things the playground that she had previously unable to do. or that laina now calls elijah “ju-ju” which apparently means “little chicken” in farsi. or that elijah just loves to be chased around the house and lets out the most adorable squeals and giggles as he’s crawling his little butt off.
admittedly, there are days when sam and i are just ready for 7:00p.m. to roll around because we are so tired, but i really do believe that life does not get any better than having little ones.
