Kids are so unpredictable and imaginative that it is truly mind blowing at times. I put Laina bed tonight while Sam tucked buddy in, and we went through our standard bedtime routine. We typically end the night by chatting about our day and playing “High, Low” where we talk about our favorite part of the day and our least favorite part of the day. Then Laina likes to ask a few questions right before I turn off the light. Most nights, she asks the same two questions: When I wake up in the morning, can we go to the playground? and Tomorrow, do you think we can go to Target? So she asked these, but then she followed the second question with this:
L “Actually Mommy, I have a better idea. Do you think we can go do Vorsen Orse?
M: Vorsen Orse? What is that?
L: Oh you know, it’s a store. A huge toy store.
M.: Hmmmm…I’ve never heard of that. Where did you hear about it?
L: Oh, well I just know about it. It’s a toy store where they say ‘Come in, and pick any toy you want! Any toy at all! And don’t let your Mommy say no!’
Love that girl, and definitely never know what she will come up with!
