A favorite spot over the past few years has been a little nature center in Arlington. It has a long hike through the woods along a stream, a playground at the end of the path, a pond, a garden, and of course the nature center filled with snakes, turtles, fish, frogs, etc. A few weeks ago we spent the morning exploring. A highlight was that we got to sit by the pond and watch and listen to all of the frogs. It was quite a sound–I actually thought it was a bunch of geese when we first drove up to the center. They were soo loud. The guide at the center said there were at least 250 frogs in the pond.
