This picture is a couple months old, but I am still determined to play catch up with our family blog! Seems like a stretch considering I haven’t been able to keep up with it basically since Elijah was born, but I am going to give it a try! I know we will all enjoy reading it one day when the kids are older.
Anyway, this picture is significant because it is Elijah’s very first day of preschool, and Laina’s first day of her last year of preschool! Two big milestones. Laina was of course thrilled to be returning to school and couldn’t wait to see her friends, and Elijah was just excited that he got to tag along with big sis. Valley Drive has been Laina’s second home, so we knew her first day back would be an easy transition. We weren’t sure how Elijah would do since it was brand new to him, but once he gave me a hug and kiss goodbye on that first day, he hasn’t looked back. He loves going to school, and gets upset on the days that we drop Laina off and he doesn’t get to go. Sam has co-oped in both of their classrooms and gotten to see how much fun they have! Although E is the youngest in his class, he seems to be fitting in just fine!
