Last week, we had the first snow–at least that amounted to enough to go sledding in! The kids didn’t have school in the morning, so I figured we could get all bundled up and play in the snow for a while. Anyone that has kids knows that getting them ready to play in the snow is not necessarily a fast process. It always feels like an accomplishment just getting everyone bundled up and out the door! So, we headed out and the kids were thrilled. Laina made snow angels, and Laina and Elijah were excited to use their sleds. I love seeing the excitement on their faces when it snows. The excitement however, lasted for only a few minutes. They were both ready to go back inside after 15 minutes! Maybe next time we’ll last a bit longer 🙂
