These blog posts are obviously not happening in chronological order…I’m just trying to catch up and am doing them as I come across pictures.
We took our annual trip to pick out and chop down our Christmas tree–it truly is one of my favorite days of the year. I love watching the kids have such a great time–between the open air moonbounce, the slides, the apple cider, the fire pits, the walking bridge, etc etc…all of it brings them such joy! Unfortunately this year Elijah wasn’t feeling so hot…but he hung in there and let his brother and sister have fun for him. This year, I loved watching Laina and Austin go down the slides together. Austin didn’t want Sam or I—he wanted his big sister! And she just ate it up :). They also stuck together on the moonbounce while I tried to bounce them all around. Sam and Elijah got a lot of snuggle time during the trip since E didn’t really want to do much else. He’ll have to make up for it next year!
After getting plenty of play time in, we headed over to the tree farm and searched for quite a while for the perfect tree. The kids finally agreed on one, and it was a joint effort to chop it down!
Until next year…
