The fullness of life

It’s been a while. Our family is still as vibrant and close as ever. And every day it seems like there is a story. But we aren’t recording it so we are going to start making a record of this life again because it makes us happy now and will make us laugh in the future.

Laina started crew 2.5 months ago and has loved every minute of it. She has her first “states” championship tomorrow with her novice 8. One thing, she’s got a cold (no covid!) and it’s pouring down rain. So at 5am when she is to be heading out the door to the school and get on the bus, I am sure we will be beginning a whole story about tomorrow. We’ll be there with here every step of the way!

Lemon had a checkup today and she’s doing great. Her dad was convinced to buy $300 in pills but that’s not too bad per year, right?

The lice epidemic has been bouncing around the house for nearly a month. Its not clear how we are going to get out of this but we might all be sporting buzz cuts for summer time!

Austin has yet another baseball game cancelled due to weather. Poor guy’s season is gonna last until July at this rate. H’es a good sport about it though.

Elijah randomly had hives on his arm. A little hydrocortisone and off to bed. We had a nice conversation at bed time and he talked about the SOLs. He was stressed leading up to them because he never took SOLs before but they were way easier than he expected and is feeling confident now. Good to hear that.

My new job is going better. I made it out to Seattle to meet the team in person and , other than the jet lag, the trip was a success. Working remotely will be much easier for me with that feeling that I know my team.

Casey has been working more so with that comes more stories about people and their lives. Clients can be tough! She had a client fall in a creek (not her fault!) but all’s well that ends well.

Hopefully this is the start of much more frequent update to our blog!
