I never realized just how many nicknames Elijah would have by the age of (almost) 18 months. Mainly, I call him Lijey, Bubba, or Buddy; Sam calls him Buddy; and Laina calls him:

Ebu
Boo boo
Eljah Joon (Farsi inspired)
Ee-gi
Ju Ju
Mimi
Buddy
Bubba
E
I’m sure I’m missing some, but we’ve heard all of these the last few months. Her favorite nickname for him is Ee-gi. At least for now. We’ll see what the future holds. Poor guy must be pretty confused about what his real name is!

Hey, the way I look at it, at least you are calling him something, Between Nana, Grammy, Granddad, Poppi, GatorMama, Boo and BooBoo, no wonder we are all confused. Still great kids, no matter what we call them. Love, Granddad
