Ooops–I skipped a month along the way. But, here we are at 10 months old and little Elijah is continuing to come into his own. A few tidbits about him at this age:
Favorite foods: raspberries, avocados, bananas, pasta with marinara sauce, black beans
Words: Ma-ma, Da-da, Na-na (Laina), Ki-Ka (kitty cat), ba (ball)
Signs: Milk, Cat, Mommy
Likes: **Chasing a ball around the house. There are days when he will spend an entire morning doing this. **Turning the lights off. **Bathtime! Especially if it’s with his sister. **Petey and Ellie! He likes to chase them around the house, too. He’s pretty rough with them, and so far they have been fairly tolerant (although Petey has already knocked E around with his paws) **Watching all the kids at the playground, and playing in the sandbox **Eating. He gets so excited each time he’s in the highchair. He smacks his lips and seems to thoroughly enjoy his meals (although he defintely gets frustrated that he can’t have a whole banana or apple, etc) **Playing with the vacuum cleaner **Being chased or chasing Laina. So much fun to watch them do this in the evenings…they both squeal and scream. **Birds, flags, airplanes, dogs!
Dislikes: **Diaper changes and getting dressed altogether. Oh my gosh, it’s a battle every single time we try to change him. There are many days where he goes about the being halfway dressed as I have not been able to complete the task! **
Favorite toys: Any ball, tall plastic cups, pumpkin basket, drumsticks
