Our little man is 8 months old!!

Well, I guess Elijah figured 8 months is an exciting time since in the last couple days he started crawling, transitioning from laying down to sitting up, and he cut his first three teeth! AND, he said M-Ma a few times with intent! The first time I heard him say it was while he was on the ground and started to become frustrated and clearly wanted up. He fussed a bit, looked at me, and said it! Of course, as his mom, I wondered if maybe I was just wanting to hear it. The next morning though, Sam heard him say it when he first woke up in the morning and was ready for milk!
Our little man has also started the process of cruising. This is all so exciting, but of course, is causing some unpredictable sleeping issues! 🙂 We’ll let it slide since he has so much going on. It’s actually been pretty funny lately to go in and check on him when he is *supposed* to be sleeping. I have peeked my head in a few times only to find him sitting up, playing with a toy…and of course he shoots me his huge smile.
