Last weekend (3/19) was the first time Elijah had food! Just as we did with Laina, we started him off on sweet potatoes, and overall he seemed pretty open to the whole thing. He definitely gave us some funny facial expressions during those first few bites, but by the end he was wanting to feed himself. Before his big meal, Laina decided we should sing “Happy Birthday” to him. There’s a video in the smugmug gallery of the big event. 🙂
