An introduction

This afternoon we headed over to the soft play area at a local recreation center with a few friends. Laina had a blast playing with all the “squishy” toys, but she spent most of her time in the ball pit. It was so much fun to watch her gradually become more and more daring with jumping into the pit..she started off by just stepping into the pit, but by the end she was saying “Ready, set, go…let’s jump higher!”
The most memorable moment however, was watching Laina introduce herself to another little girl. Her exact words: “Hi little girl. I’m Laina.” Yes, my heart melted indeed. To my knowledge, this is the first time she has gone up to someone and introduced herself.
