We had our first encounter with Santa last week while we were in Savannah. Laina is very intrigued. Very. She wasn’t into the idea of sitting in his lap however, she did want to give him a high five and touch his beard and hat. She was seriously checking him out when it was our turn to see him…trying to figure out what this guy is all about. When we started walking away, she said “I want to see him again!” I love the first picture below because that captures her really studying the whole scene.
When we got home from our trip, she started talking about Santa a lot. This is kind of how the conversation went…
Santa Claus is going to pick up the ball with us. And Santa Claus is going to play with us. And…Santa Claus is gonna sit on the red couch with us!
