Sam and I were awakened our usual way…Elijah in our bed at 6:30 going through the list of parties he wants to have (dance parties, candy parties, pool parties, picnic parties, etc)…but this lasted only a few minutes. He then disappeared for a bit, and came back with his boots, snow pants and hat on! Needless to say, we were outside with all 3 kiddos before 8 a.m. We were not alone, though! By 8:30, many of the neighbors joined in, and the kids (and adults) had so much fun. Watching the big kids help the little kids, hearing the giggles and squeals, watching everyone eat snow, etc..it was just pure fun. We took a break after a couple hours, made some chili in the crockpot, had some of the neighbors over to play, went outside again, had Laina’s friend over for dinner, and finally got everyone bathed and into bed. It was a full day!
