Halloween was awesome. Laina got so into it this year, and was interested in every little detail of it. One of her favoite parts was spotting pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns all around. She would say, “He’s smiling at us!” when she saw jack-o-lanterns. When it came to carving our pumpkin though, Laina wanted to be fairly hands off. As she watched Sam carve our little guy, she repeated “Oooeey Gooeeey” and turned down any offers to stick her hand inside the pumpkin. She did touch some of the “oooeey goooeey” mess, but she definitely kept it to a minimum. Once we were done carving, she was very excited about the pumpkin’s surprised look.
