Oh, I forgot to…..

I got to put Laina to bed the other night since Sam had class, and we went through our normal routine of bath, reading, singing in the chair….and then, bedtime! Typically when I put her to bed, the last thing that happens is Laina stands up in her crib and asks for a hug and a kiss and there you have it. Very sweet. Lately though, she’s been wanting to be “tucked in”… covered with her yellow blanket and her head placed on her pillow. So…we did just that the other night. As I was walking downstairs, I heard Laina say “Oh! I forgot to hug and kiss Mommy!” She then proceeded to call out my name. And yes, I went upstairs to give that baby girl what she was asking for!
One of Laina’s regular sayings right now is “Oh, I forgot to…fill in the blank”
