We usually have pictures or videos to go with these posts but we’ve been unable to capture this moment very well so far. So here it goes….
Laina has always liked my glasses. Well, I shouldn’t be so proud, she likes ALL glasses! But since she sees me the most of all her ocularly challenged fmaily, she likes to play with my glasses when she gets the chance. Luckily they are some sort of flexible material so she can bend and pull and the glasses don’t break.
So now that she’s bigger she likes to try my glasses on occasionally. Well recently she put my glasses on “all by herself”, looked around with mommy and daddy watching, and said “intesting!”
It was like having daddy’s glasses on made her feel like a grownup and then it was time to think about something high-minded. There is no way to describe how cute it was and still is. If we ever get a picture or video of it, we’ll definitely share.
