Laina really gets a kick out of Sameh. She loves to watch him jump and dance, and then try to imitate him. In fact, many times when she is jumping up and down she says, “Just like Sameh!” They play really well together, and have spent many days this summer at the pool, playground, etc. Last week, we got to spend the whole morning with Sameh and Melody. They came over to play for a bit and then we headed into Old Town to take the kids to story-time at Hooray for Books, a favorite Friday a.m. activity. The storyteller there is awesome with kids–so engaging and approachable. After story-time, we headed to lunch at Austin Grill. We ended up getting stuck there for quite a while after we had finished our lunch, but it was pretty entertaining to watch Laina and Sameh entertain each other. They sang the alphabet together, fed each other, checked out all the decor in the room, etc. Such a fun time!
Here they are at Hooray for books–they share the same eagerness, and always seem to make their way right up to the storyteller!
