A dear friend of ours, Kerry, came to visit a couple weekends ago. It had been entirely way too long since we had seen each other–and she hadn’t met Laina yet. We had such a fun time catching up, and it was great to see Laina interacting with her–they were fast friends!
Kerry and I had a chance to spend some time together reminiscing and catching each other up on the last couple years. While Sam spent time with baby boo, Kerry and I got to do two things we used to do together a lot–go shopping at TJ Maxx and eat at a Mexican restaurant! Afterwards, we decided it would be fun to go do a tour of the monuments by night..so we spent a couple hours walking around DC. It was absolutely beautiful. We did somehow manage to get extremely lost for about an hour, but we eventually made it back to our car ;).
