The other morning, Laina and I were eating breakfast together…and she was eating with a spoon that she had gotten as a favor from her friend’s birthday party. She looked at me and said, “Two years old…Sameh.” My jaw dropped (really). We had been talking about the different ages of her friends a few days before, but I still wasn’t’ expecting her to bust out with that!!
Anyway, Sameh is one of Laina’s close pals whom she talks about a lot. I mean, A LOT! We hear Sameh’s name at least a few times each day…I think it’s really sweet that she is developing relationships with her buddies.
The three of us celebrated Sameh’s second birthday a few weeks ago at the Fairlington Community Center. As always, it was so cute to see all of these little kids playing with each other. Here are a few pics:
