Ice cream and meandering around

The other day Laina and I met a few friends at Dairy Godmother in Del Ray…it is probably the best custard I’ve ever had (maybe second to Kline’s in Harrisonburg!) Laina has tried ice cream a couple times, but never had her very own dish. She loved her vanilla custard, and so did her buddies! After we all indulged, we were planning to go to the playground nearby to let the kiddos run around for a bit. They however, had other plans. Laina and Sameh decided they wanted to walk the streets instead, and they found their very own playground at someone’s cute little home. Still don’t know what it was about this particular house, but they were perfectly content climbing the stairs, walking down the driveway, chasing and kissing each other, etc. We felt a little awkward that we were just hanging out in front of this house, but we figured who could get upset at these little cuties?!
