Practice makes perfect

It’s really fascinating to watch someone’s personality gradually develop over time, especially when it’s your baby boo! One of the things we have noticed about Laina is that she really spends a lot of time practicing any new skill that she is learning. I remember months ago when she was just starting to stand up on her own, and she would literally spend hours at a time hanging onto her cube toy pulling herself up. Hours. We recently started a tumbling class, and the same tendency is there. She finds one piece of equipment, and she spends most of any particular class becoming comfortable with it. She ventures out and checks other things out too, but inevitably she ends up going back to her little staircase that leads up to platform and then a slide. I love to watch her “practice” as she does it with such concentration and determination.
