When Austin, Laina and I dropped Elijah off at school today, his teacher asked us if we wanted to bring the school’s ducklings home for a day/night. Of course we did!!! The kids were thrilled about it, and spent all afternoon with these little guys. The were able to hold them and watch them swim in our bathtub (for almost 2 hours.) Laina decided to name them…Peepsters got his name because he is super loud when he “talks.” Jumpsters continuously jumped out of the kids hands back into the tub every time they tried to pick him up. Laina and Elijah were ready to make the commitment to keep them forever…Austin was okay with them in small doses. Such a fun experience for all of us!
