Well, I guess technically it was her second one, but I’ll do another post on that next. L’s class headed to Miller’s Farm in MD last Friday, and I was fortunate to be able to be a chaperon. How fun to see Laina in this setting…riding a bus, being silly with her friends, interacting with her teachers. Super cool to be able to observe this. She asked me to sit next to her on the bus, and you better believe I did!
While we were still on the bus, the sky opened up and it poured! This didn’t hold anything up–we hopped off the bus and got right on the hayride with our raincoats and umbrellas. They got to go through corn mazes, feed the chickens, check out all the farm animals, pick pumpkins, have a picnic, etc. A fun Friday!
