I’m not sure where the time is going lately, but I realized I never wrote anything about our Halloween festivities! On Friday night, we went to the annual party at our neighborhood community center. The MOMS club Laina and I belong to has really expanded lately, as there were over 100 people there! Seeing so many little ones dressed up in costumes was pure entertainment. At the party, Laina spent a lot of time checking out and petting all of the kids dressed as animals.
On Saturday, we had a few of our neighborhood friends over so the kids could go trick-or-treating together. This was Laina’s first time, and she got really into the spirit of trick-or-treating. We did however, run into a scary monster in our court…and Laina was definitely unsure about this guy. After the fun was over and all of her little pals went home, she needed to process her experience with this monster. When Sam was putting her to bed, she talked to him about the monster a lot. She just needed her Daddy to tell her everything was okay. So sweet. Love those two.
